Answer to Craig: lambretta GP 200 lack of power

If you have a Lambretta GP 200 new engine you have to make about 200 km to have better performances. If your Lambretta GP 200 engine is not new you may have some problems with low cylinder compression and you need to repair the cylinder and put a new piston kit. Applying a 30 mm carburetor is not a good idea; you can have better results with a 28 mm carburetor.

lack of power

just bought a gp 200 sil,it has an expansion box,uprated air filter,but a standard carb.performance is not so good,especially uphill.will a 30mm del orto improve perfomance,the engine is just getting run in,havent done above 50 mph yet
